WIth summer about halfway through, the sisters of Gamma Tau have definitely been busy! Here’s an update on our sisters who have traveled abroad- we hope you enjoy their travel tales!
Hayley Dodds, Omicron, studied abroad in France, Monaco, and Italy! Check out some pictures of her journey below.
Katie Gleason, Xi, spent her study abroad time in Paris, Greece, and Italy!
Read the message below about Jenn Corser’s, Xi, time abroad:
“I’m taking a six credit class to study 20th century Barcelona! I lived in Barcelona for three weeks, and absolutely loved it! I also went to Rome for a weekend with three friends! We have also made three day trips to Tarragona, Girona, Figueres, and Montserrat. I had so much fun learning about new cultures, meeting people from all around the world, eating scrumptious food, and much more!”
Amy Malinowski, Nu, went to Costa Rica with International Student Volunteers to work at Ostional National Wildlife Refuge. She spent her time collecting data on the nesting behavior of ‘la tortuga lora’ and worked on prepping a hatchery for next year’s nesting season. She lived with a host family, and while at first had quite the culture shock, ended up loving her experience in Costa Rica! Pura Vida 🙂
Clearly our Deltas have been busy so far this summer! Keep an eye out for our next post about our sisters’ fun summer jobs and internships.
We hope that you have a happy and safe 4th of July!
