Meet our outgoing Chapter Development Team! The overall goal for this group is to develop a relevant and engaging member experience though the member development initiative, ritual and education. These are the women who served on the team this past year:
Vice President of Chapter Development
Continuing Education ChairKristen planned Pansy Bruch and Founder’s Day Brunch. She also served on the Officer Training Committee. This position was a great learning experience for Kristen. “It gave me many opportunities to get involved with the chapter and it help Tri Delta grow to its fullest potential, I know all of the new officers will do amazing!”
Member Development ChairLexi was in charge of choosing and holding open meetings consisting of various topics on current chapter and member needs. She also developed and maintained relationships with campus professionals, alumnae members and community leaders in the Harrisonburg area. Not only did Lexi plan a successful Parents Weekend, but she also revamped Senior Week by adding new events, surprises and gifts for last year’s seniors.
Academic ChairAs Academic Chair, Kelsey served on the Standards Committee and held weekly study hours at both on-campus libraries. She conducted individual member academic assessments and plans for sisters below bylaws. Kelsey’s hard work and dedication to improving our chapter grades paid off since our overall GPA went up dramatically!
Music ChairLindsay went above and beyond with her position this year. She ran our amazing Greek Sing performance titled, “Delta Olympics”. Lindsay also entered the Gamma Tau chapter in a national competition where we re-created our own version of the popular song “Call Me Maybe”, check it out! She also put on fun activities for sisters, such as a Tri Delta choir and Christmas caroling. “I’ve loved learning more about how all other officers can help build everyone up for every event”.
