September’s PR Princess and Sarah Ida Shaw of the Month

This month we did something a little different and had not one, two, three, but FOUR PR Princesses and Sarah Ida Shaw of the Month winners! We can’t think of four more fabulous sisters to receive this title after an extremely successful Recruitment.

Ashley Monger exceeded all expectations we had as our Reference Chair. People don’t always realize how much behind the scenes work goes into Recruitment and this woman went above and beyond with her position. Ashley constantly communicated with the chapter and stayed organized during all the Recruitment mayhem. There was not a moment where she was not poised and proactive throughout the week, which makes an amazing PR Princess and Sarah Ida Shaw of the Month. Our Recruitment Chairs, Julia Ledwith and Patience Cantrell and President Stacey Diapoulis, remained positive during the entire week of Recruitment. They had numerous sleepless nights and nearly lost their voices from proudly screaming Tri Delta chants all day long, but managed to constantly keep a smile on their face. Their spirit inspired our chapter and left us with goosebumps as they emotionally led the senior’s “last Recruitment chant,” that you can see below.

I think every JMU Tri Delta can agree that this was a moment none of us will ever forget and these women helped make it so special for our sisters. It is clear that all four of these ladies exemplify “unselfish leadership,” a quality Sarah Ida Shaw strongly believes in. We can all agree that not only did they represent our chapter perfectly as PR Princesses, but they made Sarah Ida so proud, which is way they are more than deserving for both of these titles.

Thank you for all your hard work with Recruitment and congratulations on this accomplishment. We are so proud to call you all our sisters.

Delta Love,

-Gamma Tau
